Asking your volunteer to sit down, you place the tube on their head. You drop a lit match into the top of the tube and flames shoot up! Have you just set fire to your volunteer's hair? On goes the lid and the flames are extinguished. When the tube is removed the not a hair on their head has been harmed!
Makes a very dramatic illustration for Pentecost, when the heavenly fire came down on the disciple's heads!
