A fun visual restoration effect with lots of heart.
A balloon is cut in half, restored and inflated. Perfect for any church service, school assembly, youth group and community event. No experience with balloons needed. If you can blow up a balloon, you can do this trick.
You show everyone a red uninflated balloon, with a picture of a heart on it. A member of the audience cuts the balloon in half, right through the heart. Now you bring the balloon to your mouth and blow. Whoa. The balloon inflates, complete with a restored heart!
You inflate a second long white balloon, and with some simple twists create a stem for the heart balloon. It's a great gift to give to your volunteer, birthday child or member of the audience.
A professional finish and a fun gift
Use this cut and restored effect to illustrate dozens of messages about love, including how:
- God heals the brokenhearted.
- God loves us despite us feeling broken beyond repair.
- Love can be found, even when we are hurt deeply.
There are lots of ways to link blowing up the balloon to a message about the breath of God. 'And Jesus breathed on them and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit’' John 20:22. 'All scripture is breathed out by God' 2 Tim 3:16. 'God breathed into Adam's nostrils the breath of life.' Gen 2:7
Ideal for ANY day where you want to show everyone some love, but especially Valentine’s Day, Father's Day, Mother’s Day and Birthdays.
Don't forget a balloon gag. Cut the balloon up and say 'That's halved the rate of inflation!' The kids might not get it but the adults will. 'A man was arrested yesterday for impersonating a balloon. The police held him for a while, then let him go!' There's plenty more balloon jokes to be found online.
- Quick, visual, easy magic
- Suitable for all ages. Everyone loves balloons
- A great gift on any special day
- A unique illustration for dozens of messages
