Your spectator secretly chooses two cards - the 8 of Hearts and the Queen of Hearts. You remove a prediction from its envelope - a checkered piece of paper with hearts cut into it. When the paper is folded, it shows two red hearts. 'Is your card the 2 of hearts?' 'No!' your spectator says. You refold the paper to show four hearts. 'Is this your card?' 'No,' they respond. 'Third time is the charm!' you say, snapping the paper open to reveal the Eight of Hearts! 'And the second card was...' you continue, snapping the paper once more to magically reveal the Queen of Hearts. With a final fold, the Queen disappears, and the paper is exactly as it was at the start.
