The magician starts by showing an empty box. With a wave of the hand, the box bursts into flames. When the fire dies down, the box is empty once more. Next, a silk handkerchief is threaded through the box. Flames shoot up again, appearing to burn the silk. Magicians love their silk handkerchiefs, so this looks risky! But there’s no need to worry—the silk comes out completely un-singed, un-scorched and un-harmed! Un-believable!
