Your spectator marks their coin with a pen and then holds the coin under a hanky, feeling its hard surface through the cloth. They let go, dropping the coin into a glass of water. Everyone hears the coin hit the water, but when the hanky is removed, the glass is visibly empty - the coin has vanished! For ultimate proof, tip up the glass and pour out the water. Now for the real show-stopper - reach up and pluck the spectator's marked coin from behind their ear!
