Jailbreak is a close-up trick where a solid object seems to pass through metal bars. It takes inspiration from the classic stage effect 'Through a Jail Window,' where a performer climbs through the bars of a jail window.
The trick begins with a blue frame holding four metal bars, similar to a jail cell window. Spectators check that the bars are solid and secure. You place a slotted card over the rods, then push a borrowed credit card right through the bars. After that, a full deck of cards goes through, then a drinks can. For the finale, a glass goblet visibly slides through the frame.
