Ingeniously simple. Beautifully deceptive. You’ll be able to perform this within minutes of receiving it.
Show the audience four cards, each displaying four of the Wonders of the World – the Eiffel Tower, The Pyramids, The Great Wall and the Taj Mahal. These are mixed face down, so no one knows which card is which (not even the performer). The cards are slipped into four numbered pockets on the Wonders of the World Board. The Board is turned over to show the back of a giant prediction card.
The Board is turned back around and a member of the audience selects one of the four cards. No forces. No funny business. No stooges. This is a FREE choice. The card in the numbered pocket is taken out and turned to show the picture – e.g. the Taj Mahal. The giant card is then removed and, to the audience’s amazement, it shows the Taj Mahal – a perfect match! You’ve predicted their choice in the fairest way possible.
Fun for any audience. Here's one way to present it, by asking some one about their favourite restaurant. An Indian at the Taj Mahal Restaurant. Or Chinese at the 'Great Wall' Restaurant.
For those in ministry we've included Paul Morley's exclusive Gospel presentation. Each Wonder reminds us of a biblical truth. For example: The pyramid remained the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years- unsurpassed until the 160-metre-tall (520 ft) spire of Lincoln Cathedral was completed. However the pyramid was a tomb but the cathedral was a celebration of the risen Jesus. A full script is provided.
